GOL BAHAR PARSIAN
Gol Bahar Parsian Vegetable Oil Development Company (Private Joint Stock), known as “GolPars,” was registered in the Companies and Non-Commercial Institutions Registration Office in 1999 (1378 [Solar Hijri]) to operate in the production of various vegetable oils and edible fats, the processing and packaging of diverse olive products, and the extraction of oil from different plant seeds.
In line with the policies of the esteemed government and with the aim of establishing quick-yielding and entrepreneurial economic enterprises, this company—by partnering with Bank Melli in the city of Mamunieh and utilizing state-of-the-art technology in the food industry as well as capitalizing on the region’s agricultural potential—launched the first phase of its factory in Mamunieh Industrial Park, located at kilometer 70 on the Tehran–Saveh highway. The following facilities have been set up:
- Raw oil storage tanks
- Refinery for various edible and medicinal oils
- Oil filling hall for containers of different sizes and volumes
- Energy production hall
- Unit for manufacturing containers and packaging supplies
- Packaging hall
- Fully equipped process-control laboratory and necessary instruments
- Water storage facilities (reservoir)
- Welfare and administrative buildings
In its initial production phase, to prioritize exports and meet part of the country’s domestic needs, the company’s product range includes various edible oils such as soybean, canola, sunflower, blended oils, frying oils, cottonseed, olive, sesame, and others, as well as medicinal oils produced via the cold-press method (including almond, walnut, hazelnut, etc.). Additionally, it supplies brined and marinated olives in various packaging and volumes under the brand names Tandis, Daryan, and Shideh, offered to the market.
The company covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. At present, it imports the raw oil needed from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and Malaysia, with part of the requirement also met domestically. The imported raw oil is transported by tanker from ports to the factory.
The establishment license was issued for the production of 250 tons of liquid and hydrogenated vegetable oil, and its current official capacity stands at 150 tons per day. Currently, 80 employees work at the company across three shifts.
